Self-Direction

I was inspired to create this 11"x17" canvas after reading the book Creativity For Life by Eric Maisel. He speaks about 10 artists' traits and self-direction was the one I needed to work on most. The collage has scraps of book pages and words that help define who I am, while my heart - bound by wire - floats aimlessly in space, yet still sees all.
